THE MIRACULOUS HISTORY OF THE ROSARY CITY
On the 12th of October 2014, the Sunday after the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, I went to Mass with my family as usual at our parish Church of Sant Esteve in the town of Ripollet in Barcelona, Spain. That day, the Church celebrated the feast of Virgin del Pilar. It was a big feast day when so many people come to the Mass and the church is usually packed to the brim. On that Sunday, the church was so full and so many people were standing. There weren’t enough seats for everyone. My family and I came early, so we were all seated. We spotted an empty bench on the back row that could contain five people, so my wife and I and our three children went and sat on the bench. Sitting comfortably at the end of the bench waiting for the Mass to begin, I looked up and saw an elderly lady standing beside me. I didn’t know when she came in, but I knew that her presence was going to change my plan. I never like to hear the Mass standing. It was my desire and would have been my utmost joy to sit comfortably with my family and hear the Mass, but I knew I had to offer my seat to the elderly lady. I got up and offered her my sit. She declined but I insisted, refusing vehemently to go back and sit on the bench. Seeing that I wasn’t making any move to return to the seat, she accepted my offer and sat down where I got up from. The expression on her face shows that she was happy I gave her a place to seat. I felt happy that I made the sacrifice.
As I stood where the lady was standing before I gave up my seat, I noticed that I was standing directly in front of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima place at the back of our church. The statue was less than a meter and half in front of me. It didn’t take long after I noticed I was standing in front of the statue when I heard a gentle voice say to me; ‘you will build a Rosary City for me.’ I did not know what that meant as I had never heard the name Rosary City before, but I was very sure that I heard the gentle voice clearly. When we went home after the Mass, I kept thinking of what the sentence, you will build a Rosary City for me, means. I kept it in my mind and wasn’t expecting anything more.
In about a week or so, as I passed by our parish Church and was about to descend a step across the street from the Church on my way home, I began to hear the same voice in my heart. It began to explain to me what the message about the Rosary City means. This is what I heard:
“The Rosary City is the place where the most beautiful rosaries in the world will be made. You will build the Rosary City for me in Nigeria. The Rosary City will later become the biggest rosary production place in the world from where millions of beautiful rosaries will be produced and exported to many countries of the world. Through the Rosary City, many of my suffering children will find sustenance and lots of works of mercy will be carried out in the lives of the needy people from the Rosary City. Nigeria will be known as the country that makes the most beautiful rosaries in the world. From billions of Hail Marys that would be recited by millions of the faithful around the globe using the rosary beads made by my suffering children in Nigeria, abundance of graces will flow back to Nigeria and cause true conversion and lasting peace in Nigeria.”
In subsequent days and weeks, I was shown everything on how the Rosary City will be built and operated. I recorded all in my mind.
REGISTRATION OF THE ROSARY CITY IN BARCELONA, SPAIN
In late 2015, I began to apply for permits and license to first establish the Rosary City in Spain where I lived. After several visits to the local council office in Ripollet, I was finally given a date to submit the initial documents. The date I was given was February 11, 2016, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. I was happy that it fell on the feast of Our Lady. I thought it was a mere coincidence, but the subsequent events proved me wrong. I submitted the documents and began to wait for notification of approval or denial. Meanwhile, I prayed to Our Lady of Lourdes to help me to obtain the approval of the application. I promised Her that I would visit Her grotto in Lourdes to pay homage to Her if the application come out favourable.
After five Months of waiting, the approval for the permit was granted on the 6th of July 2016. I later discovered that the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Reverend Sister Agnes Sasagawa in Akita Japan took place of the 6th of July 1973. Again, I was happy that the approval of the application for license to operate the Rosary City fell on a date that has connection to Our Lady. After the approval, I was still going to submit some documents and wait for the license to be processed and given to me. I requested appointment on the internet and was given 2nd of August to submit the last document at the appropriate department. August 2 is the feast of Our Lady of Angels, or of the Portiuncula.
I began to call the department three weeks after I submitted the document as the process takes three weeks. I was told that the process is usually slow during the summer but that I should call always to inquire if my batch is out. I was calling throughout the rest of August and into September. In the morning of September 8, I called as usual and the lady at the other end asked me to hold on for her to check if my license was among the ones sent in that morning. When she returned to the line, she said to me; “yes your license is among the batch that came in this morning, you can come to the office to collect it.” I went fast to the department and got the license. I was finally given the license/permit on the 8th of September 2016, the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. That was the first time it dawned on me that these were not mere coincidences. Our Blessed Mother was giving signals that the Rosary City is Her project. The following day the 9th of September, I boarded a bus from Barcelona to Toulouse from where I took a train to Lourdes. I spent two days in Lourdes honouring Our Blessed Mother for Her help. That was the first time I had to travel to the grotto of Lourdes.
After the first license expired and I applied for renewal in May of 2017, it was approved on 23rd of June 2017. That date was the Feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus, St. John the Baptist and the eve of the feast of the Immaculate of Mary.
In January of 2019, my elder sister and her husband donated a plot of land with a 3-bedroom house for the establishment of the Rosary City factory in Nigeria. It was an old bread factory. There were many mysterious circumstances that led to them deciding to give up the place to be used for the Rosary City project. I didn’t request for the space. Our Mother signaled to them that She needs the place for the project. My sister’s husband was an Anglican before he got married to my sister. He converted to Catholicism and wedded my sister in the Catholic Church. Now, he loves Our Blessed Mother Mary with passion and prays many rosaries fervently every day.
DEDICATION OF THE LAND FOR THE ROSARY FACTORY TO OUR LADY
After acquiring the land for the rosary factory, some groups of Block Rosary Crusade went to pray on the land and around the property. A beautiful grotto was built on the property. On 11th of February 2019, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, with the help of Reverend Monsignor Chris, the place was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mother of God, Mary Most Holy. On the eve of that glorious day of dedication, I travelled to Lourdes, France. While the dedication was taking place in Enugu, simultaneously, I knelt before the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes offering the beautiful prayers of the Holy Rosary committing the rosary factory and the Rosary City into the hands of the Most Holy Virgin. It was a most joyful day.
RELOCATING TO FATIMA
On January 25th,
2019, we received the first clear signal that Heaven wants us to relocate from Barcelona
to the town of Fatima in Portugal. Many signs emerged that we no longer had
doubt that it was the will of God and the desire of the Blessed Virgin that we
move to Fatima. We began to make the necessary arrangements. In early August of
2019, we moved to Fatima, Portugal where we live presently. We arrived Fatima on
the 6th of August 2019, the feast of the Transfiguration of Our
Lord. It was a beautiful experience moving to Fatima at that time of the year
when millions of pilgrims troop to Fatima from different parts of
the world. Fatima was bustling with life and devotions to Our Lady. We felt
like we had arrived our heaven.
OUR MOTHER REMINDED US OF THE URGENT NEED FOR THE FACTORY PROJECT
Shortly after our arrival in Fatima, as I was praying at the Chapel of Apparitions before the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, I heard the voice again in my heart requesting that I proceed to register the Rosary City in Nigeria. This time, I noticed an urgent tone in that voice. I thought I had come to Fatima to erect a rosary factory in the name of the Rosary City, but Our Mother has another idea. I must do what She wants me to do. I would proceed with the registration of the Rosary City in Nigeria.
REGISTRATION OF ROSARY CITY IN NIGERIA AND THE THUMBPRINT OF OUR BLESSED MOTHER, VIRGIN MOST HOLY
I sent a message to our elder sister, a Reverend Sister, to help with the registration of the Rosary City at the corporate Affairs Commission in Nigeria. She began the process as soon as she received the directive from me in mid-August. In middle of September, she excitedly called me on phone to announce to me that the license has been granted, but the granting of the license was not the cause of her notably uncontrollable excitement. She asked me; “can you guess what date that was stamped on the business license?” I said no though I could have guessed it right giving the phenomena surrounding the Rosary City. She shouted that Our Lady has put Her seal again. The business license has the date September 8, the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The most amazing thing about this phenomenon is that September 8, 2019 was a Sunday. All government offices in Nigeria are closed on Sundays. Our Blessed Mother Mary has to go to a great length to put Her thumbprint on the Rosary City project.
